This website is the portal through major findings from the Alcohol Toolkit Study are made available.

The Alcohol Toolkit Study is funded National Institute of Health Research’s School for Public Health Research and Society for Study of Addiction. The overarching aim of the Alcohol Toolkit Study is to assess the impact of excessive alcohol consumption, and population interventions designed to reduce this consumption, on public health in England.

The study is a collaborative effort between researchers at UCL (Dr Jamie Brown, Dr Emma Beard, Prof Robert West & Prof Susan Michie), University of Bristol (Prof Matt Hickman), King’s College London (Prof Colin Drummond), London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (Dr Karen Lock), University of Newcastle (Prof Eileen Kaner) & University of Sheffield (Prof Alan Brennan & Dr John Holmes).
